Dr. David Houston – Entrepreneur, CEO & Business Speaker

Dr. Dave Houston graduated as a dentist from Griffith University in 2008, but his true passion has always been general business theory and practice.

In 2011, he purchased his first clinic, John Street Dental, from his father. Within a year, he expanded to a second clinic, and over the past decade, he has grown his business into a network of six dental clinics across the City of Moreton Bay and The Sunshine Coast. Today, Dave is the CEO of Australia Dental Group, driving its growth and innovation in patient care with the support of an executive team at Australia Dental HQ.

Dave’s journey has taken him from hands-on dentistry to high-level business leadership. Starting as a clinician in direct patient care, he progressed through the ranks and now operates as a “Level 3” manager—CEO of his own multi-clinic organisation, responsible for strategic planning and business development. Beyond his own company, Dave also serves as a Level 4 advisor, offering direct business mentoring and coaching to other entrepreneurs and business owners in industries as diverse and Law, Marketing and AI.

His passion for helping others extends into public speaking and business education through his Level Up framework. He has shared his insights at major events before, including the Dental Practice Ownership Conference in Melbourne 2017, where he was one of the highest-rated speakers. In the last 12 months, Dave has taken his insights global, speaking to Entrepreneurs in Adelaide, Western Australia, and Vietnam.
